Welcome to geofora 2012 by the president of figawa, 

Hon. Prof. (RUS) Bernd H. Schwank

Safeguarding water extraction and water supply to the municipal networks and for drinking water installations with high standards of hygiene would be inconceivable without technologies and products. It is our member companies who ensure that they are available!

This was this background, just over five years ago, for launching the fruitful co-operation on geofora between the German Federal Association of Gas and Water Companies (figawa), the town of Hof and other partners.

A unique and successful partnership has developed for the whole industry: geofora is a success story. The companies value the trade fair and the congress as a focused specialist platform for information and communication on all aspects relating to the new technologies. We are looking forward to the next geofora in Hof in 2012, which will be held in the refurbished Freiheitshalle congress centre. You will be surprised.

It is therefore my pleasure to invite you most cordially to join us in Hof, the town of expertise. Benefit from geofora 2012 and look forward to a warm welcome in Hof.
